Plastic Recycling Extruder Machine’s 3 Heating Methods

Plastic recycling extruder machine is one of the most important pieces of equipment in the waste film recycling line , which changes the physical properties of plastics through high-temperature melting, plasticizing, and extruding.

The total amount and types of energy distribution in China show obvious geographical differences, and the demand for energy in plastic recycling extruder machine is very large. Since plastics require high temperatures, the cost of energy consumption in the plastic pelletizing industry is very high.
Now the plastic recycling extruder machine on the market has formed a pattern of electromagnetic heating as the main, ceramic heating and iron heating as a supplement.
In recent years, the electromagnetic heating for plastic recycling extruder machine has been widely promoted in the country. The electromagnetic heater is based on the basic principle of electromagnetic induction so that the cylinder itself is hot, so the heating rate is faster than in other ways.
In addition, there is a heat preservation material encapsulated on the cylinder of the plastic recycling extruder machine, so that the thermal kinetic energy is not easy to flow out into the air, which makes the thermal kinetic energy to be utilized flexibly, greatly reduces the thermal damage, and improves the use of thermal efficiency.

Ceramic heating is commonly used in plastic film granulator, i.e., the heating wire is passed inside the ceramic and wrapped into a circle to be packed on the barrel of the machine. The electric heating ring is energized to generate heat and conduct heat through the ceramic so that the temperature of the screw rises to achieve the effect of melting plastic.

Some plastic recycling extruder machines are heated by iron. The electric heating wire and metal casing are filled with dense heat-conducting material, and the mouth of the tube is sealed with a high-temperature sealing material. High mechanical strength, easy to use, and safe. Moreover, the iron material is corrosion-resistant and has a long service life.
